Here at Walk With You Counselling, we are dedicated to providing client-centred, trauma-responsive, strengths-based, and solution-focused therapy to help individuals navigate life's challenges and achieve holistic well-being. We integrate evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Mindfulness practices to promote self-awareness, resilience, and personal growth.


Amanda Harris

Amanda is a highly qualified and fully accredited mental health social worker, with over 15 years of extensive experience across diverse fields who brings a wealth of knowledge in trauma responsive therapy.  Working in both government and private sectors – including school base counselling, family violence, trauma, sexual assault and holding general counselling roles within the community.

Amanda’s approach goes beyond traditional counselling; it’s a commitment to walk alongside you on your healing journey. Amanda adopts a client-centred approach in her practice, prioritising the establishment of meaningful connections with clients to ensure their unique needs are not only heard but also addressed through the establishment of appropriate goals aimed at fostering positive and lasting change.

Amanda works with clients aged 12 and above and can offer in person appointments on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, with some appointments available after hours and on weekends by negotiation.

Telehealth sessions and Supervision sessions are available on Monday’s and Wednesdays.
